Yongqin Wang is a professor at the School of Economics, Fudan University. He is also a doctoral supervisor. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Fudan University in 2004 and completed his postdoctoral research at Yale University from 2008 to 2010. He was a Fulbright Senior Visiting Scholar at Harvard University from 2016 to 2017. Currently, he serves as the director of the Fudan University Green Courtyard New Financial Business Model Research Center and the Deputy Director of the 985 Platform at the School of Economics. Yongqin Wang has published over 40 articles in authoritative international and domestic economics journals, including Journal of Economics, China Economic Review (2 articles), Economic Research (9 articles), Management World (2 articles), Financial Research (5 articles), World Economy (7 articles), and other core journals. He has also authored eight books in Chinese and English. His research on the institutional basis of China's development and debt leverage has received significant attention in both domestic and international academic circles, leading to numerous follow-up studies. His recent research interests include financial economics, development economics, and applied microeconomics.
