Changyuan Luo

Professor at the School of Economics and the Institute of World Economy, Fudan University

Changyuan Luo is professor at the School of Economics and the Institute of World Economy at Fudan University. He is a leading talent in philosophy and social sciences under a national-level talent program and serves as the chief expert on a major project funded by the National Social Science Foundation. He also holds the position of Deputy Director of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Research Office at Fudan University and is the Vice President of the Shanghai Institute of International Finance and Economics. He is the Vice President of the China World Economic Society and the President of the Shanghai World Economic Society. Additionally, he is a researcher at the Fudan University Center for European Studies, a part-time researcher at the Fudan University China Economic Research Center, a distinguished researcher at the China Development Research Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and a member of the Academic Committee of the Research Center on China and the World Economy at the Development Research Center of the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences. He specializes in research on international economics and development economics and has a significant academic influence in areas such as foreign direct investment, factor income distribution, the global impact of China's foreign trade, and the Belt and Road Initiative.
