Shiyi Chen is professor at the School of Economics and the Fanhai International School of Finance, Fudan University. He also serves as the Director of the Center for Sustainable Development and the Center for Green Finance at Fudan University. He is the co-director of the Shanghai-Hong Kong Development Joint Research Institute, jointly established by the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Fudan University. He has received several national-level talent awards, holds a special government allowance from the State Council, and has been honored with the title of Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Expert with Remarkable Contributions by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. He is also recognized as a leading talent in Shanghai. Shiyi Chen is a member of the Science Expert Group for the "Belt and Road" Sustainable Development International Cooperation Science Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, a member of the Chinese side of the China-Korea Joint Committee of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, a member of the China National Committee for Future Earth, Vice Chairman of the Energy Economics and Management Branch of the Chinese Society of "Double Laws" Research, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Industrial Economics Society, Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Society of Quantitative Economics, Executive Director of the China World Economic Society, an expert for the Pudong New Area Science and Technology Development Fund in Shanghai, Executive Editor of Fudan Financial Review, Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Econometrics and Finance, Editor of World Economic Digest, and Editorial Board Member of Environmental Economics Research.
